Some parents think that sending their kids to daycare is a cruel form of abandonment. I don't think so. Hardly a day goes by when I don't think that my 8.5 year old daughter is a stronger and better kid for having gone to daycare since she was 2. Even though she's small she's able to hold her own in all kinds of situations due to the fact that being in daycare has made her able to understand or at least adapt to almost everything. I know it's hard to send your kid away into the great unknown. There will be times when it won't seem like the right thing to do. But, based on my experienced, daycare is excellent training for what real life will be.
