We have a nanny who is in the country on a tourist visa (not allowed to work) and would like to know if we have any options for getting her to start working legally. Can we sponsor her? Also what are her options if immigration told her she has 1 month before she must leave the country. Has anyone else dealt with these or similar issues. Thanks. We are looking into contacting an immigration lawyer.
