I'd like to highly recommend hair stylist Amy Moreno in Lafayette for cuts and for color both. Three of my friends referred me to her, all picky women with distinct tastes, and all saying, ''She just gets it, and I come out looking fantastic every time'' raving about her ability to offer a great cut every time. So I gave her a try, and drove the 15 minutes from Oakland to Lafayette. My cut was fantastic, and so much so that I went back to try a color touch up, again fantastic. Exactly what I want. I have been seeing one of the best stylists in the East bay for 2 years, and have spent hours of my time translating what I want, and it never seems to be just right. Amy's cut was perfect, exactly what I wanted, and the color too. And she doesn't leave you with 1/4 inch of roots showing right after getting highlights. She gets really really close and honestly, it just looks great. Her rates are super reasonable as well- $45 for a cut, and $75 I think for partial highlights. Make the trip- it's only 15 minutes.
